To avoid the formation of the anhydride 17′, in addition to obvious anhydrous conditions, bis-aziridines 9 and 10 were dried under vacum 12 h prior to use. When 9d was dried only 1 h, 17d and 17′d have been obtained in 15% and 61% yields, respectively
