N. Reyren reported on the superconducting transition of the electron gas formed at the interface between LAO and STO at bout 200 mK (Ref.). Using the Jahn-Teller splitting as a rough estimate of the electron-phonon coupling and the calculated density of states at the Fermi level at the interface we obtain the effective coupling constant λ of 0.13. Taking the experimental value of the STO Debye temperature of 513 K (Ref.) the BCS transition temperature is about 266 mK in good agreement with Ref..
