    • The effective contact area is slightly larger than the measured area of the Au pads due to surface roughness. For ITO, the three-dimensional area (as measured by AFM) was 7.7% higher than the two-dimensional area, and for PPO the three-dimensional area was 5.9% higher than the two-dimensional area. To account for this factor, the area of the Au pad was multiplied by a factor of 1.08.

    • 4 system to estimate the Ga-In eutectic contact area is an approximation since the presence of ions in the film will slightly alter the dielectric constant compared to PPO film without ions.
