    • Nevertheless, KT values can be used as an estimation to the valence EAs, as shown in ref. 1; instead of using the KT definition of vertical EA = -ε(LUMO), a linear relationship of the type [aε(LUMO) + b], finding the appropriate values for the slope a and intercept b by curve fitting. A suitable analytical value of the intercept can be derived from the ionization potentials, as shown in ref. 22 and 23, where a different correction strategy to the KT values is proposed
