    • Diversity of prokaryotes associated with Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae)
    • This work is a part of Patrick Degnan's PhD research investigating the evolution, genetics and genomics of facultative endosymbionts of insects. Nancy Moran has had an ongoing interest in bacterial symbionts of animals, particularly the study of heritable symbionts of sap-feeding insects and their role in nutrition, resistance to natural enemies and thermal tolerance.
