Dispersal mode, seed shadows, and colonization patterns
-
Katrina Dlugosch's research centres on the evolutionary ecology of colonization events, with a particular focus on adaptation in invasive plants. She is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California Santa Cruz, having recently finished her PhD under Ingrid Parker. She will move to a postdoctoral position at the University of British Columbia with Loren Rieseberg in 2007. Ingrid Parker holds the Jean H. Langenheim Chair in Plant Ecology and Evolution at the University of California Santa Cruz. Her research interests span topics in plant-pollinator and plant-pathogen interactions as well as the evolutionary ecology of invasive and domesticated species.
