    • We have assigned to the P1 atom (see Scheme 2) the signal at δ, 48.7 ppm, typical chemical shift of a hexacoordinate phosphorus atom, while to the P2 atom we have assigned the signal at δ, 60.1 ppm, typical of a tricoordinate phosphorus atom with a delocalized lone-pair. In the present case, the P2 atom is probably coordinated to the third MgBr+ ion
