    • The Ch-G5OH amphiphiles in DMSO were dialyzed to equilibrium against deionized water. The dialyzed solution, which was typically around 20 mg/mL, was diluted with PBS or water to ∼3 mg/mL for DLS and TEM studies. The accurate concentration of the dialyzed solution was determined by dropping 100 μL of solution on glass fiber prefilter papers. Each paper was weighed, the Ch-G5OH dialyzed solution was added, and the paper was dried and weighed again. The dry weight of the Ch-G5OH amphiphile was determined by subtracting the weight of the paper from the total dried weight.
