    • It should be mentioned that the radius of the dendrimers in the gas phase will be different from that in solution. Also, protonation will change the radius of the dendrimers. Molecular modeling shows a hydrodynamic radius of 20.5 Å for the prolonged fifth generation dendrimer, while for the unprotonated one a radius of 16.1 Å was calculated.
