Propofol and sevoflurane have opposite effects on the cerebral vasculature. Estimated cerebral perfusion pressure decreases with propofol and is maitained with sevoflurane. In hypocapnic conditions, the zero flow pressure increases with sevoflurane, but is maintained under propofol anaesthesia.
