    • 2 crystallized with two disordered complexes in the asymmetric unit. Partial refinement gave R1 = 19% and GOF = 1.193 with unique Cd-S distances of 2.61, 2.62, 2.69 and 2.78 and a Cd-O distance of 2.2 . While crystallographically unsatisfactory, these results establish a square pyramidal environment around the Cd(ii) center, with the four sulfurs in the square basal plane and the oxygen donor from the water at the apex
