37. Attempted Miyaura borylation of 4-phenyl-2-chlorooxazole, 8, gave a quantitative yield of 4-phenyloxazole, indicating that rapid protodeboronation may restrict the use of 2-halo-oxazoles as nucleophiles in the Suzuki-Miyara reaction under these reaction conditions.
