    • It should be noted that the use of CB7 concentrations above ca. 150 μM resulted in the formation of a pink precipitate in the pH range from 2 to 11, which may be due to the formation of higher-order complexes; the CB7 concentrations were therefore kept below 150 μM, where no interferences from higher-order complexes were observed.
