According to our unpublished results, MAO-activated 2,6-bis-(imino) pyridine iron(II) chloride complexes are able to provide, although to a minor extent, the ring-opening polymerization of THF in the presence of acrylate monomers, which further supports the feasibility of the reaction discussed here.
