    • -1. To obtain a global minimum energy conformation of 8d, molecular dynamics was run with a simulated annealing protocol. The calculation followed the temperature protocol beginning at 700 K and gradually cooling down to 200 K for 1000 fs and was run for five cycles. The dynamics result was analyzed and 200 conformers were randomly selected. The selected conformers were briefly minimized and the final coordinates were saved into a database.
