    • BiT belongs to a monoclinic system with the space group B1a1 [Rae et al., Acta Crystallogr., Sect. B: Struct. Sci. 46 (1990) 474]. Since the monoclinic distortion is very small and the monoclinic angle nearly equals 90°, the BiT system can be assumed to have an orthorhombic system with the B2cb space group.
