    • The Schwarzrand Subgroup is characterized by a +2 plateau (6,28). In the northern subbasin, the underlying Kuibis Subgroup records a decrease from +3 down to 0 in upper Mooifontein Member with values of -3 obtained on carbonates from the underlying Mara Member. In the southern subbasin the Kuibis Subgroup has values of about 0 at the top that gradually increase toward the bottom of the section to +4 and then decrease down to -1.
