    • Trimethylsilyl allylic ethers undergo 1,3-isomerization at room temperature with 1, though at a slower rate than allylic alcohols. (Bellemin-Laponnaz, S.; Le Ny, J.-P.; Osborn, J. Tetrahedron Lett. 2000, 41, 1549-1552.) We did not, however, observe significant isomerization of the trimethylsilyl allylic ethers formed during our reactions.
