    • The acetate ligand is known to be dissociated from allylpalladium intermediates in the presence of 2 equiv of phosphine ligands or 1 equiv of bidentate ligands. The resulted cationic allylpalladium complexes are key intermediates in the Tsuji-Trost allylic substitution reaction.
