    • In experiments with the much longer undigested lambda DNA, adsorption of DNA to comparably small lipid patches could also be observed. However, due to the lose ends of DNA which do not fit onto these patches, the rim of the lipid patches smears out in the AFM images and the exact size of the lipid patches is difficult to determine.
