    • 20. Thermal melting studies were carried out on a Perkin-Elmer Lambda 2 Spectrophotometer equipped with peltier heating system at 260 nm. The concentration of the oligonucleotide and the complementary RNA target strand (30-mer) was 1 μM each in 1 mL of 100 mM sodium chloride, 10 mM sodium hydrogen phosphate, pH 7.4 buffer. The heating rate was 0.5 °C/min.
