    • 2+ center suggest a considerably lower concentration of enzyme (60% lower compared to the Bradford); however, methods based on the cluster would also be inaccurate since they would not provide the total protein concentration including apo-protein. Our experience working with MutY indicates that the Bradford method using BSA as a standard overestimates the concentration.
