    • The 2.761-eV absorption edge is determined in Ref. 8 by plotting the (Formula presented) AP emission (located at 2.679 eV) intensity versus the laser excitation energy. This roughly corresponds to a PLE spectrum with a detection energy at 2.679 eV. A true PLF spectrum obtained by monitoring (Formula presented) AP emission at 2.680 eV is also presented by G. D. Brownlie, Z. Zhu, G. Horsburgh, T. Steele, P. J. Thompson, J. M. Wallace, K. A. Prior and B. C. Cavenett, J. Cryst. Growth 159, 321 (1996).
