Intermolecular chemoselectivity was determined by treating an equimolar mixture of two different substrates (X) and (Y) with 0.1 mol % of the reagent in an appropriate solvent, and the reaction was monitored by GC. An internal standard was used when both deprotected products were same. Selectivity = % Y deprotected - % X deprotected at time t.
