20. II mixed-valence "acetate/methanol" complex has been reported, and support for a delocalized structure at room temperature and at 77 K was acquired by EPR spectroscopy. This complex was never isolated, however, and it disproportionated to a large extent upon cooling below ∼-50 °C as judged by the presence of a significant mononuclear Cu(II) impurity in the EPR spectrum.
