Storage in basic media (pH 8.5) showed loss of the acetamidomethyl side chain in a time and temperature dependent fashion (a maximum of 40% loss over the course of 18 h was observed with related isoxazolinones). Solid state stability was excellent with no degradation evident after storage at ambient temperature for >3 years
