    • Overall fiber compositions can be conveniently analyzed by ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC), as fibers disassemble into their constituent macrocycles when subjected to the mobile phase used in reversed phase UPLC analysis (acidic acetonitrile-water mixtures). Macrocycles of different size and composition elute as separate peaks from the UPLC column.
