With our purified WT Fluc we detected a maximum emission wavelength lmax=652 nm with the Maki analogue 3 compared to the l=675 nm previously reported: S. Iwano, R. Obata, C. Miura, M. Kiyama, K. Hama, M. Nakurama, Y. Amano, S. Kojima, T. Hirano, S. Maki, H. Niva, Tetrahedron 2013, 69, 3847-3856. It is not uncommon for bioluminescence wavelength to vary with the strain and purity of luciferase.
