    • TiO2 are the static dielectric constant of ethanol (24.6) 27 and anatase TiO (114), 24 respectively, and R is the distance from the adsorbed AP derivatives to the TiO surface. Thus, we obtained the outer-sphere reorganization energy as 0.7 eV by assuming R = a = 0.35 nm. Although λ is the sum of the inner-sphere and outer-sphere components, λ should be more or less 0.7 eV because the calculated inner-sphere reorganization energy for organic dyes adsorbed on TiO nanoparticles is reported to be negligibly small. 35
