    • It is expected and it was numerically confirmed that the QSSA for the radical types (Equation 9) is always valid starting from very early reaction times. The definition used for QSSA is a rigorous one based on the relative magnitude of derivatives of the intermediate fast dynamics species (free radicals) with respect to other "slow" species, and it amounts to the rapid cancellation of generation and consumption terms of the rate equations for the free radical species
