They demonstrated a reduction in the primary composite endpoint of death, MI, and heart failure with use of MHT for 10 years. Limitations of this study include a paucity of cardiovascular incidents, lack of placebo, and study design for evaluation of osteoporosis, not cardiovascular disease outcomes
