    • Besides the reaction conditions reported in this paper, we have tried different reaction conditions including different diameter of reactors, catalyst particle sizes, concentration of glycerol solutions. Because glycerol solution is viscous, the using of smaller particle size, larger i.d. of reactor, higher glycerol concentration will require high pumping pressure, increase the instability of the liquid flow, and increase the risk of pushing the fixed catalyst bed to downstream
