    • Our reaction is partially fulfilling the criteria of a polymer click reaction according to the definition reported by Kowollik et al. The photo click reaction is modular, wide in scope and chemoselective. However, we require two equivalents of the nitroxide since upon irradiation of the hydroxy ketone two radicals are generated, which means that only 50% of the nitroxide is immobilized into the polymer. Our photoreaction is fast, quantitative, and the products are stable and insensitive to air and water., C. Barner-Kowollik, F. E. D. Prez, P. Espeel, C. J. Hawker, T. Junkers, H. Schlaad, W. V.
