As a confirmation experiment, the drift times for protonated and deprotonated cytochrome c in the 11+ and 11- charge states, which are known to display very close cross sections (2303 Ã2 and 2305 Ã2, respectively) were measured, and very close drift times were observed: 5.57 and 5.53 ms, respectively
