    • Emergency management of pediatric convulsive status epilepticus: A multicenter study of 542 patients
    • This multicenter retrospective study identified 542 patients presenting to an emergency department with a convulsive seizure of at least 10 minutes duration. Convulsive SE was terminated after first-line therapy in 42%, second-line in 35% (or 60% of patients not responding to first-line agents), and rapid sequence induction of anesthesia in 22%. Seizure control was not achieved in two patients who died
