    • Due to the moderate enantiomeric purity of 7i, the camphanic ester derivative was obtained as a mixture of the 1S, 4R, 1'S, 6'S, 9'Ss-10b major and 1S, 4R, 1'R, 6'R, 9'R-10b' minor diastereoisomers, which were separated via preparative HPLC. Only the minor diastereoisomer 10b' crystallized, and its X-ray structure was determined Scheme 5
