    • Physical measurements. Infrared spectra were recorded on JASCO FT/IR-480 plus spectrometer as KBr pellets. Electronic spectra were recorded using an Agilent 8453 HP diode UV-VIS spectrophotometer. Elemental analyses were carried out by the Atlantic Microlaboratory, Norcross, Georgia USA. Magnetic measurements were carried out in the Unitat de Mesures Magnètiques (Universitat de Barcelona) on polycrystalline samples (20 mg) with a Quantum Design SQUID MPMS-XL susceptometer working in the 2-300 K range. The magnetic field was 0.1 T. The diamagnetic corrections were evaluated from Pascal's constants.
