    • The measured absorption peaks in solution for these commercial QDs were not coincident with those reported in the specification sheet. For this reason, final molar extinction coefficients had to be extrapolated from the complete EviDot series calibration curve. This method of approximating the molar extinction coefficient suggests a possible source of error in the determination of the final concentration of these nanocrystals
