    • Molecular surface areas of Leu, Hil, and (2S,4R)-Tfl were determined by using Spartan '08 (Wavefunction, Inc. Irvine, CA). Structures of amino acids were minimized using Hartree-Fock calculations with a 6-31G* basis in vacuum, followed by determination of the molecular surface areas.
