14. 4OAc (2 g) and AcOH (20 mL) as a solvent was refluxed for 1-2 h. (monitored by TLC using 1:1 EtOAc-petroleum ether as eluent). The reaction mixture was cooled and then was poured onto ice-water. The solid, so formed, was collected by filtration and crystallized from EtOH to give orange crystals.
