    • Other types of fluctuations are known to occur and can cause decoherence, including 1/f magnetic-flux noise and current noise on the bias leads. In principle, fluctuations in capacitance, inductance, resistance, quasiparticle number, or temperature could also occur and lead to decoherence. However, there is no evidence that any of these other types of fluctuations are associated with prominent avoided level crossings in phase qubits.
