A purple crystal of the title compound with dimensions of 0.35 mm × 0.30 mm × 0.25 mm was mounted on the top of a glass fiber. The data were collected on a Bruker-AXS APEX diffractometer equipped with a graphite-monochromatic MoKα (λ, 0.71073 Å) radiation by using an ω-φ scan mode at 293(2) K. The structure was solved by direct methods with SHELX-97 program and refined by full-matrix least-squares procedure on F 2 with SHELXTL-97 [19, All nonhydrogen atoms were refined anisotropically, and hydrogen atoms were positioned geometrically. Crystal data for C164H118N20O2Zn3 (1, Mr, 2596.89, triclinic, P-1, a, 11.4406(1) Å, b, 12.6869(2) Å, c, 22.7121(3) Å, α, 84.453(1)o, β, 87.939(1)o, γ, 84.314(1)o, V, 3263.83(7) Å3, Z, 1, Dc, 1.321 Mg/ m3, F000, 1348, μ, 0.613 mm- 1

2 = 0.1255 for all dara, GOF=1.102. Selected bond lengths and bond angles are listed in Table S1. To indicate the phase purity of the samples for solid state emission measurements, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) data were collected on a DMAX2500 diffractometer using CuKα radiation. The measured and simulated PXRD patterns of complex 1 are shown in Fig. S2, Supporting Information.
