    • In the far field the speckles are larger than L0 and N has been determined from a fit to the data in the CRP (solid squares). We note that only for a beams spot size (1/e) well below 500 ?m we were able to observe the time intermittency shown in Fig. 5 (a) in agreement with our observation in the near field (Fig. 5 (b)).
