X-ray scattering information obtained from near-field speckle
-
The use of near field images for static and dynamic small angle X-ray scattering is demonstrated. Compared to typical X-ray instrumentation, the near field one is very simple, being based only on a pixel sensor and possibly a monochromator. In particular, for dynamic measurements it is not necessary to employ pinholes or apertures, as commonly done in X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy. This gives a four order of magnitude increase in the scattering signal
