    • The reaction occasionally resulted in the formation of black precipitates when the reduction was carried out with PhSiH3 in hexane. In this case, the collected precipitate was found to be soluble in chloroform suggesting the formation of gold nanoparticles and found that the obtained nanoparticle was monodisperse.
