    • In bulk glass-formers, zero coupling parameter implies exponential correlation function, and vice versa. However, the confined nanodomains have additional spatial heterogeneity which contribute to distribution of relaxation times. Hence, vanishing cooperativity or zero coupling parameter does not imply exponential correlation function.
