    • Using a novel biosensor of PTP1B and mathematical modeling, the authors define the spatial regulation of the phosphatase that confers specificity of EGF receptor signaling. The novel, yet generalizeable, engineering scheme described in this study should be able to be extended to multiple enzymes.
