14. We adopt the term "micelle" here to describe the PDMS microdomains in solution, rather than "microemulsion" or some other term. Chevalier and Zemb report that there is no difference in nature between a micelle, reverse micelle, or microemulsion [43]. Other authors have used "micelle" to describe graft copolymer microdomains that form in a selective solvent [44]. The similarity in behavior between conventional graft copolymers and the PDMS/CD-star slip-ring graft copolymers in this paper leads us to prefer the term "micelle".
