2 (1 mM), DTT (2 mM), each of the purified proteins, Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.5, 50 mM) containing 0.1% Triton X-100 (total volume, 150 ml), 30 °C for 15 h. When the purified CDPs and TBPP synthases thus prepared were used under this incubation condition, followed by the treatment with acid phosphatase, no geranylgeraniol was detected by GC analyses of the hexane extract, indicating that the cyclization reactions had completed.
