    • ADMET polymerization was also carried out using Grubbs' first and second generation catalysts. However, these catalysts were less active toward the polymerization of complex 1 and therefore Schrock's catalyst was determined to be the preferred catalyst in this case. More specifically, complete monomer conversion was observed after approximately 3 days when Grubbs' second generation catalyst was used and approximately 5 days when Grubbs first generation catalyst was used.
